How much does an LED Sign Cost?

The cost of your LED sign is determined by a number of factors, but costs are most greatly affected by the total number of pixels used by the sign, and sign size and pixel density is the ultimate determination of pixel count and vicariously the bulk of the sign cost.  Sign coloration is also an important factor in cost determination as well. Full color signs cost more than single color signs. A color sign with a pixel cluster comprised of 1 red, blue and green LEDs will cost more than a monochrome LED sign with a single red LED per pixel. Lastly cost can be subtly affected by the type of controllers used for a sign.

Surefire Sign has developed proprietary technology to protect our LED systems from normal environmental conditions. Surefire LEDs offer excellent performance at extremely low temperatures, and hot temps up to 140 degrees.

What is the warranty on your LED sign?

What is Pixel Pitch?

The pixel pitch is the center-to-center distance between pixels given in millimeters. We provide wide range of LED display from pixel pitch of only 2mm for HD media display to 20mm for outdoor advertising purpose. The smaller pixel pitch makes higher resolution display. What is Matrix?

The LED matrix resolution represents the number of pixels that are on a display. The higher the resolutions the better an image is on the display. For more information please see our article about Sign Terminology.

What is the lifetime of an LED Sign?

LED’s are rated for 100,000 hours or 11 years of use, at full brightness.

How do I change the message in an LED sign?

The communication method refers to the way in which you upload media (text, images, animations, and video) to your LED display. We offer Wi-Fi and FTP server (internet) methods. To choose the best communication method contact us for more information.

How much energy does an LED sign use?

This depends on size and pitch. Average cost per year to operate is around 250.00. This all depends on the type of content you display.

What does RGB stand for?

RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue which are the 3 basic colors that the human eye can perceive. Using combinations of these 3 colors, many colors can be produced. In short RGB means in full color display.
